COOKIE INFORMATION
Cookie Policy
This Policy explains how TAJAODDS uses essential cookies and limited browser storage to provide secure account and preference features.
About this Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how TAJAODDS uses cookies and similar browser technologies. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
The inventory reflects the technologies currently present in the service. It does not treat every browser feature as an advertising or tracking technology.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small values stored by a browser and sent with relevant requests. They can support authentication, security, and preferences.
Local storage keeps a value in the browser until it is replaced or cleared. Session storage normally lasts for the current browser-tab session. These storage mechanisms are not sent automatically with every request.
Essential authentication technologies
Clerk sets authentication and security cookies when a person signs in, signs up, or uses an authenticated session. These technologies are required to recognize the session, protect the account, and provide requested authenticated features.
Clerk controls the detailed cookie set and session duration according to its service configuration and browser behavior. Exact cookie names and expiry can vary, so they are not represented here as fixed when the application does not control them.
Functional preferences
The authenticated workspace can store the selected light or dark appearance in a first-party cookie for up to one year from the latest choice, unless the cookie is cleared earlier.
Browser local storage can remember an explicit Responsible Gambling support-region choice, a timezone, and a monthly or annual billing-period comparison choice until the value is replaced or cleared. These choices support features requested by the user and are not used for advertising. The support-region choice stays in the browser and is not treated as precise location data or attached to a Member profile.
Browser local storage
Local storage supports limited visitor, Member, and Staff features in the browser where those tools are used. It may hold preferences, feature-recovery state, or a profile-scoped authoring draft.
Local storage remains on the device and browser profile until the application removes it or the user clears it. People using a shared device should sign out and clear stored site data when appropriate.
Staff authoring and recovery storage
Authorized Staff tools use profile-scoped local storage to recover card-authoring work and bulk match-result drafts after a refresh or interruption. The storage is used only when those tools are opened.
Staff recovery storage is functional application state. It is not analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking, and authorized Staff can remove it by completing or clearing the relevant local work or clearing site data.
Current providers
Clerk provides authentication cookies. TAJAODDS provides the first-party preference and browser-storage technologies listed below. Supabase stores product data on the service side but does not add a separate browser-storage technology through the current application code.
| Technology | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Authentication and security cookies | Clerk | Provide sign-in, session continuity, fraud protection, and account security. | Cookies | Session and security duration controlled by Clerk settings and browser behavior. | Essential |
| Appearance preference (tj_workspace_theme) | TAJAODDS | Remember the light or dark appearance selected in an authenticated workspace. | First-party cookie | Up to one year from the latest selection, unless cleared earlier. | Functional preference |
| Member timezone preference | TAJAODDS | Display card and result times in the Member's selected or detected timezone. | Browser local storage | Until replaced or cleared in the browser. | Functional preference |
| Billing-period preference | TAJAODDS | Remember a monthly or annual comparison choice in the billing interface. | Browser local storage | Until replaced or cleared in the browser. | Functional preference |
| Responsible Gambling support-region preference | TAJAODDS | Remember the visitor's explicit support-resource region choice and override future browser suggestions. | Browser local storage | Until replaced or cleared in the browser. | Functional preference |
| Announcement presentation marker | TAJAODDS | Avoid replaying the same entrance animation during one browser session. | Browser session storage | Current browser-tab session. | Functional presentation |
| Staff authoring and recovery drafts | TAJAODDS | Recover explicitly used card-authoring and bulk-result work in the same browser. | Browser local storage | Until saved, removed, replaced, or cleared in the browser. | Essential feature recovery |
How long technologies remain
The table gives an exact period only where the application sets one. Otherwise it gives the verified criterion, such as the browser session, the provider's session settings, or retention until the value is cleared or replaced.
Browser settings, private-browsing modes, sign-out, service configuration, and manual clearing can remove a technology earlier.
Managing cookies and browser storage
Cookie settings can be opened from the public footer. Essential technologies remain active, while any future optional category will default off and can be rejected, changed, or withdrawn through that control.
You can also inspect and clear cookies, local storage, and session storage through browser settings. Blocking or clearing essential authentication cookies will sign you out or prevent authenticated features from working. Clearing functional preferences resets them to the service or browser default, and clearing Staff recovery state can remove unsaved local work from that browser.
Analytics and advertising
No optional Analytics provider or advertising cookie is currently active. No tracking pixels, referral-attribution system, affiliate tracker, heatmap, session-replay technology, or social-media tracking embed is currently active.
TAJAODDS does not use the current cookie and browser-storage inventory to build advertising profiles or follow people across unrelated websites.
Future consent controls
No public first-visit banner appears while no optional technology is active. Before TAJAODDS activates optional Analytics or another non-essential category, the category and reviewed provider must be registered and the public consent banner will become active for visitors without a current choice.
Optional categories default off and remain blocked until valid granular consent is given. Reject optional is as accessible as Accept all, and consent can be changed or withdrawn through Cookie settings.
When an optional choice is required, TAJAODDS stores a versioned first-party preference in browser local storage without an account identifier, email address, IP address, fingerprint, or advertising identifier. It remains until the visitor changes it, browser storage is cleared, or the consent schema or policy version changes. Clearing it may require a new choice when optional technology is active.
Changes to this Policy
This Policy will be reviewed when browser storage, authentication, providers, analytics, advertising, personalization, or tracking changes. The current version and last-updated date will remain available on this page.
A material policy, provider, or category change may require a new choice. It will not be treated as accepted merely because a person continues browsing.
